This review is for the Arlington location. The Dallas location is smaller, but still awesome, but has about one third the number of games available as the Arlington location. According to their website, the Arlington location has nearly 300 games! That's a good selection, which includes a variety of arcade classics. My favorites are CARNIVAL KING, TIME CRISIS, AREA 51, TETRIS, AND PAC-MAN. FOR $4 extra, you can get all day free refills on their self serve soda fountain, across from the bar at the front entrance. The reason this price is fairly high is the beverages on the soda fountain are not drinks like Coca-Cola, Dr. Pepper, Sprite, or Barq's Root Beer. These are drinks, which are made with real cane sugar. These drink options include black cherry soda, creme soda, grape soda, and orange soda, all of which are a "soda jerks" dream. Needless to say, playing video games will get your hands dirty. Your best bet is to wash your hands, but hand sanitizer stations are conveniently placed all over this giant arcade. There are also 2 sets of restrooms for your convenience. Also, there are pool tables, ping-pong tables, Skee-Ball games, and a few private party rooms. THIS ARCADE IS KID FRIENDLY, BUT AFTER 9PM, ONLY ADULTS ARE ALLOWED IN THE PREMISES. Cidercade is open until midnight every day, which allows late night game play for the "grown-ups." I am very happy with this place, but sad when closing time arrives. Definately recommend this arcade.
