Came here on a Saturday night, there were not that many people and no need to wait. The restaurant is clean and very big. The most outstanding here is their service. We didn’t decide what to order and the waiter approached proactively. He was very patient and...Read More

Recommend! 100% recommended Hot Spicy Frog Pot! It’s so unique and tasty. A little bit spicy but you won’t forget. There are tons of selected food you can choose to put into the pot. They are with good quality. You won’t regret!

Super authentic! Spicy just the way I like it. But you can also adjust the spiciness based on your tolerance. Good service, good food. Waiters are also really friendly!! They are known for 牛蛙 羊蝎子

Stopped by for lunch on a Saturday. The food was overall very flavorful, and spicy! We got the cauliflower dry pot, Fuqi Feipian, Dan dan noodles, and a lamb skewer. One thing we appreciated was that the dry pots were smaller than most other restaurants we...Read More

I like the dry wok frog a lot! Eggplants and duck blood are very tasty. In general everything is in big portion. A disappointment is the 重庆小面. I didn’t take photo of it, but if you are looking for authentic Szechuan or Chongqing taste, I don’t...Read More

Tianfu in San Mateo is a gem for anyone craving bold, authentic Sichuan flavors. The spice level here is no joke—perfectly balanced and punchy, especially in their standout mapo tofu, where the numbing spice quality is spot-on and transports you straight to Chengdu. The menu’s...Read More

Delicious and authentic Sichuan food! They have an impressive pickling setup, and the pickles were really good in the dishes we had. Sichuan water-boiled fish had a nice toasty chili oil flavor. The servers are nice and they gave us a complimentary chicken feet appetizer.

This is different from (and spoiler alert: so much better than) the old Chef Sha! My second time eating at the new Tian fu restaurant and I’m still amazed. Their signature dish is the bullfrog hotpot, and the frog was tender, juicy, and extremely flavorful....Read More

Eggplant and noodles had good flavor, though the noodles were very salty and eggplant was a bit undercooked on the inside. The black pepper beef rib was excessively chewy. Portions are generous. Atmosphere can be improved. It was empty when we entered and we had to...Read More
