Always our go to when it comes to authentic Mexican food in union city. My faves are the breakfast burritos, the pozole, the tacos as well as the creamiest flan you've ever had. The coffee horchata is a+ too!

Excellent food and service. Wide variety of menu options. BONUS: hand/homemade tortillas are made on the weekends. The Aguilar family demonstrate pride and embrace their family's heritage. I felt special from the moment I walked in. It's apparent that they value their patrons and community.

Consistently good and authentic. Family-run w/ great service and wonderful food. For some reason, taco truck tacos taste better, but there's really no reason for it. At Carmelita's, they give you that type of comfort food, but from a neighborhood favorite.
