We have been regulars here for about 8 years and have become somewhat family with the manager and many of the wait staff. That all ended yesterday which was a Saturday after regular lunch hours. The place was busier than we have ever seen it during the day and the food was awesome, as always; however, the service was some the worst I have experienced. I learned the longtime manager, who was amazing, had left and gone to work elsewhere. The old wait staff, who were also awesome, and many Cuban, were also all gone, as were the old Cuban, domino playing, regular customers. Refills? Forget about it -- finally get up and go to the bar to ask -- multiple times. They used to bring you a carafe of whatever you were drinking. Now, when you finally get it, the busboy comes with a carafe with no ice and tops you off. Bread? Going to have to ask for that, too. Pay with cash? You're going to wait for 10- 15 minutes for your change, even after finally having to get up to find your waitress and ask for it, only to stand around another 5 minutes until, who I guess was the new manager, finally brought it out from the back and handed it to the waitress. I grew up owning restaurants and I can tell you 100% that no matter how good your food may be, what I experienced yesterday is the kiss of death. It's really too bad, but all good things eventually come to an end. Pity, my family doesn't want to go back -- even after 8 years of being treated like family...
