Read MoreMy dad and I usually have breakfast at CCs once a week. Lately, we have all been sick. We returned today. We were looking forward to good food, good staff & good company. My dad received a cold burned breakfast platter with no toast. He never received his toast after 2 hours. My platter was cold and not made the way I ordered. I am a very patient, understanding, and forgiving person when they are busy. What I am not forgiving of is the intentional ignoring, rudeness, and unkindness of our waitress while servicing the tables next to us and not once checking on us. The young ladies next to us were also appaulled. We were seated right near the kitchen. When she was near the coffee, I hand gestured for more coffee for my 75 yo father. She completely ignored me and went to clean tables. She ignored our order, which sat getting cold in the back. She passed us over a dozen times to service other tables but not once asked if we received our order, more coffee, or if our order was OK. Our waitress from today should be fired if she is going to be selective in how she treats people, assuming some are money and some are not. Whatever her prejudice is, it should never be displayed at work, especially in the food and hospitality industry.
I will compliment GINA and 3 other wait staff, which have always been WONDERFUL to us! They know my order, and they know my dad cannot hear. That will be the reason we return! Thank you, Gina, for taking care of my Dad's order during this horrible experience.
* I was trying to eat healthy but it was meant for me to have chocolate covered Shipleys 🍩!
