My wife and I were looking up taco/burrito spots in the area because we were craving mexican food. We came across this place on google and decided to experiment with a new place, even though it had low ratings. We wanted to give it the benefit of the doubt, so we ordered one quesabirria taco, one cali burrito and a sprite can, since they ran out of sprite on fountain. Waited a long-time to get the food and even asked another gentlemen if he likes this place and he said, he only ordered his cubano sandwiches and they tend to always mess up his order, so it wasnt looking very optimistic from the start.. when we got our food, i checked it outside before walking away and seemed fine. When we got home to eat the food, her birria meat tasted bland, no flavor (we make better birria at home), the whole cali burrito was dry as heck, the meat was dehydrated like either they left the meat on a warmer too long or over-cooked it, not really sure tbh, and the fries were bland and overall lacked any flavor. Both were very disappointing. We would give ZERO stars if we could. As I've grown up in San Diego, and left for a few years, i was hoping to have good food, just not here. Stay away, unless you want sub-par mexican food. Thumbs down.
