These waffles are not like any other waffle I have had. They are more like a croissant than a waffle: buttery, moist, rich, layered-even.I don’t like traditional waffles, but these I would eat again (though I fear they must have more calories for being so much more indulgent, so I’ll exercise self control).I had the bacon, fig, ricotta waffle, and I could have done without the bacon and with a little less fig sauce. I was so sad they forgot the basil!!!! I was curious how that would have added to the overall taste, but it was way too crowded and had been too long a wait for me to go back.I got a burger too, and didn’t like it. They forgot the French sauce and the crispy shallots (they forgot a lot, you can compare their website to my actual meal…doesn’t look at all the same), and it just didn’t taste good. It had some harder bits in it (a lot of burgers do), I didn’t appreciate the flavor of the sauce either. The poutine however…wow! Delicious! The gravy is thick and chunky, the scallions are crisp, and the fries are perfectly crispy and bursting with flavor beyond just salt (best fries I’ve ever had)!I also had a Duchess Fog Latte with almond milk, which was so unique! I don’t like Earl Grey tea in general but this was such a curious and exotic taste. I’m glad I tried. The average meal here is $20. My latte was about $5.The wait was 40 min or so for a to go order. It was also insanely crowded, and the guys who came in 10 min after me go their food 5 min before me, which I mentioned and the manager apologized and gave me a free item, which I didn’t ask for so that was nice. They also showed me the ramp, which is to the right of the building, and I’ll be using it in the future as there are a good three steps to enter and they aren’t easy to maneuver with wheels. The bathrooms are beautifully decorated and the toilets flush easily without kicking back at you, which is good for weak hands.I didn’t see a rail to hold onto. That’s my only complaint.I love the quote on the wall and the mission of the place: to explore through food!I also love that there are practical, current events advertised on the walls,to do just that. This place is very close to the Attleboro stop, but there is also parking out front (though sparse).I took my food to a park down the way (3 min drive). Much quieter and calmer atmosphere.Update: I came back later, and the place was so much quieter and I ordered using the $10 card they gave and tried the Argentinian hot dog. I was blown away! It’s delicious!!!I appreciate that they saw a mistake and made it better by inviting me back for a better experience. That’s good customer service. Thank you!
