On December 31st I made a reservation with you for 10:00pm, providing all my details as requested. Upon arrival, we were placed upstairs near the DJ and asked to wait to be called to our table. During the wait, there were three of us and we consumed four cocktails while taking photos and enjoying the atmosphere.
After a long time, my partner approached the woman at the entrance to request to be assigned to our table. With surprise and frustration, she replied that the kitchen was already closed and that she had completely forgotten to serve us, apologizing for the mistake.
As compensation, we were offered two options:
1. Free unlimited cocktails.
2. A $150 credit for our next visit.
We declined both options as we had no intention of returning to a place where our experience had been so disappointing. Ultimately, the only solution was for her to cover the cost of the four cocktails we consumed, and we decided to leave the restaurant.
Today, January 6, 2025, with great indignation, I discovered that an improper charge of $150 was made to my credit card, equivalent to $50 per person. This charge is completely unjustified, since we were not provided with the service for which we booked nor did we authorize such a charge.
I demand an immediate refund of the amount charged and a formal explanation of what happened. I also hope that measures are taken to prevent situations like this from happening again, as this reflects an unacceptable lack of professionalism.
