I ordered two slices to go, 1 cheese and 1 pepe. This was at 3:10pm. Thirty (30) minutes later, I got my slices. WoW!!! 30 minutes for two slices, and the worst part of it was a couple that came in 15 minutes later, ordered a whole pie, and had gotten the pie before I got my slices.
Now, the cashier (which was nice) comes to me and says, "I'm sorry, the pizza manager didn't realize that there were no more slices. Ok! I told her this was going to be a bad review cause this is what I do (check out my food reviews at gorditos4eva on Instagram). With that being said, I was like, let me see how the slices come out, and maybe that will help the review be better than bad. Mine you, the place was not packed 🤦🏻
But NOOOOO!! The pizza was HORRIBLE! Look at the picture. Let's start with the cheese slice. It was burnt underneath but not crispy. The pizza was cold, and the cheese was dry and stale. The sauce tasted like like tomato paste straight from the can, lacking taste. So, I can imagine that slice was reheated so many times and just left out for me to get 😡
The pepe, this one was a bit more fresh. But the undercarriage also burnt. The cheese and sauce had no taste, but the pepe was alright. The crust was a bit better than the cheese 😒
The atmosphere was alright, good space, just hot as 🔥🔥🔥 parking is good.
With that being said. It's not worth the time, the drive, or the money. I'm very disappointed!!! Supposedly Brooklyn Pie Co. comes from a long line tradition of great pizza. This was not the case here. I had high expectations, and you guys killed it.
