My husband and I went to Bocas House and let me tell you—worth every bite and every penny of the $34.99 all-you-can-eat. The food was absolutely delicious, and our server Jose took great care of us.
We kicked things off with appetizers, and if you go, do yourself a favor and order the classic truffle mac & cheese—OMG, so good. The pork croquettes were different than the ones I’m used to, but still tasty. Then came the bao buns—the pork belly was solid, but the crispy shrimp stole the show.
Next up were the sushi rolls: the Jalea Style and the Boca House Style. Both were amazing, but the one with the passion fruit, pineapple, and mango sauce had me hooked. By this point I was beyond full, but I pushed on like a champ through this 6-course feast.
The pork belly crunch causa was flavorful (a little salty for my taste), and the Saltado Amazónico closed things out beautifully. I had to take my dessert in a cup to go because I literally couldn’t eat another bite—my husband had to help me out of my chair. 😂
Overall, Bocas House is a must-visit if you love bold flavors, variety, and leaving so full you start rethinking your life choices. FULL and very happy!
