They make it easy for you to sit in your car and wait instead of in the heat by giving you a “buzzer” for when your food is ready. There are two benches to sit while you wait if you do prefer. The woman who took my order was so sweet and pleasant as well as the staff preparing and handing out orders. Prices are reasonable for the food amount and quality. I ordered ribs, chicken (dark meat), wings, mac n cheese, string beans (they were out of Collard greens), ox tail rice, yams, baked beans, potato salad, Strawberry cheesecake pound cake, butter pound cake, sweet tea, and blue lemonade. They have 4 different sauces Sweet and Tangy, Mild, spicy, and Maul (all mixed as one). All sauces are mustard based except the Spicy. My favorite was the sweet and tangy. The ribs and chicken were perfect I could have honestly eaten them without any sauce at all. The Mac n cheese was good but not my favorite side unfortunately. It’s missing something. All other sides with grand praise to the oxtail rice were great. Yams were sweet but not overly sweet.; will always be a go to for me for this reason. Each dinner comes with 3 pieces of bread. The Arnold Palmer was amazing. The blue lemonade alone was good but if you don’t like super sweet drinks add a little water. The pound cakes were very good and the serving size to everything is more than enough. Please don’t expect to come and get your food instantly. You will wait a little, especially if you have a large order like I did. Best option is to order online (limited food options) or call in (for all food options). I drove 45min and I’d do it again.
