I believe they are of some special ingredients. They were "heavy " and almost moist. It wasn't to my liking. The next time, I will have French Toast, which I've had before and enjoyed.In my opinion, their coffee is the best I've had.For my budget the prices are high. Pancakes, sausage, scrambled eggs, and coffee were over $20 plus the tip.I'm not crazy about their menu. It's like a folded, very thin newspaper. For this elderly lady, I find it annoying and difficult to select from. I never saw the combination I was in the mood for, so I just told my server what I wanted.For my taste, the menu selection won't draw me in except for breakfast or a hamburger. Last Thanksgiving, I ordered my turkey dinner to go since I live alone. The price was outrageous. It's very outrageous.The restaurant is very clean. On this very hot day I saw one fly but it wasn't near my food, thankfully. I mentioned that because the restaurant that was there for years before had a serious fly problem. It became unpleasant to dine there.I didn't use the restroom today, but on other occasions I have. It was surprising that the restroom wasn't remodeled along with the other parts of the restaurant. It's a bit tacky, which was a complaint about the former owners.I believe that even with my experiences, the restaurant is enjoyable for many others.
