BBT, or Birmingham Bridge Tavern, has been a South Side staple since 2003—and it’s all about the beer! With 22 rotating taps and over 80 bottles, there’s something for everyone. Whether you’re stopping in for happy hour, catching a Pittsburgh sporting event, or grabbing a bite to eat, this neighborhood gem won’t disappoint.
Their award-winning wings are a must-try, with over ten flavors to choose from. We went with the Goldenboy, which had the perfect balance of heat—crispy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. If you’re a wing lover, this is the place to be!
For appetizers, we tried the fried mac & cheese wedges, served with honey mustard—crispy, cheesy, and indulgent. For the main course, I had to check out their famous chicken wrap (pro tip: get it blackened). Hands down, one of the best wraps I’ve ever had! All sandwiches and burgers come with fresh-cut fries, which are golden, crispy, and absolutely delicious.
The space is inviting, with a long bar, high-top tables, and outdoor seating available during the warmer months. They also have a second floor for parties and special events.
Tucked just off the beaten path in the South Side, BBT is a lively, welcoming spot that’s perfect for beer lovers, wing enthusiasts, and anyone looking for great food in a laid-back atmosphere. A must-visit!
