Read MoreAs a Korean food fan, I used to frequent Bowl Express and indulge in their 12-page Korean Comfort Food Menu. However, I was not aware of their menu change and new focus: Korean-style Hot Dogs. I finally Lunched at Big Mom's House - and it did not disappoint. I fought against my reflex to order my usual Kalbi or Bibimbop with an extra side of Kimchi and ordered a Crispy Ramen Hot Dogs. I marvelled at how much weight my Entree was. Also, I did not realize that it had a healthy(?) dusting off sugar on it as well. It was DELICIOUS, especially with sweet chili sauce. Big Mom asked if I had ever eaten there before and I kept saying that I loved her Kalbi and Mandu (Korean Dumplings), but for some reason, I kept saying kimchi. Because of my usual tongue-tiedness, she sent me home with a side of Kimchi carefully wrapped in cling film so as to not stinkup my car with its pungent smell.
Yes, yes, I will go back and support Big Mom... and order the Crispy Ramen dog without the sugar.
