It wasn’t seasoned, lacked flavor, and everyone at my table needed salt and pepper to add some seasoning. The food lacked the New Orleans, Creole cuisine taste. I was very underwhelmed especially after my $53 check came with an added 20% gratuity. The only thing that I enjoyed was the bread. I had fish, broccoli, and mashed potatoes. It’s pretty hard to go wrong with those three things and they failed miserably. The mashed potatoes were submerged in grease, again with absolutely no flavor. We left most of our food because of the poor quality of the food. The service was good, but the food was terrible. I wouldn’t go there to eat if they were giving the food away for free. I had seafood gumbo. They put two baby and I do mean baby shrimp in the gumbo. The gumbo was lukewarm, didn’t have flavor, and definitely didn’t taste anything remotely close to Creole.
