Having worked in the service industry for 8 years, I know firsthand how challenging it is to maintain consistent, quality service, let alone find exceptional staff. That's exactly what we encountered with Derick, our server.
From the moment we were seated, Derick’s warmth and enthusiasm were evident. He greeted us with a smile that felt genuine, and throughout our meal, he was attentive without being overbearing. It’s rare to see someone so passionate about their job, and it was clear that Derick takes pride in what he does. He not only made us feel welcomed but made the experience feel like something special. His energy was infectious, and by the end of the meal, we were already planning our next visit—not just for the great food, but to see Derick again.
His professionalism was matched by his compassion. As someone who knows how tough it can be to keep a team motivated and provide great service under pressure, I have a deep appreciation for the effort he put in.
