When I grade a restaurant, I look at presentation, taste, cleanliness, cost. This place wins me in all of my personal categories.
I get the bahn mi of course. They also have prepared dishes wrapped for to-go.
Very inexpensive, in the picture I have a stir fry, spring rolls, 3 bahn mi and a steam bun for just $20.
And its all very delicious.
They have much more on the menu, then what I personally get.
I feel like its being prepared by mothers with love, because most of the staff are elderly women. That might be why its so great here.
Highly recommend.
With that being said, most of the negative reviews are from entitled douche bags. "Language barrier" and "slow service" they say. This restaurant is not American, yes the staff will speak another language. Get over it. They know plenty English to communicate fine. They are elderly, the service may be slower..even so, I have yet to experience any slow service whatsoever.
This place deserves 5/5 stars, disregard the Entitled douche bags giving this place a bad rep.
