Alessia's | Ristorante Italiano in Mesa

We had friends visiting and I’ve been wanting to try Alessia’s, so I made reservations. There’s plenty of parking and it’s wheelchair friendly. It wasn’t crowded when we first arrived, but by the time we left it was pretty busy. The garlic cheesy bread was scrumptious. Our friend got the calamari and he loved it. My husband tried it and thought it was delicious. My husband ordered the salmon and wanted to lick the bowl clean because it was so good. Our friend ordered the seafood pasta and ate it all up. His wife ordered the Amatriciana with linguine pasta (you can choose your own pasta). I ordered the Alfredo with penne pasta and added Italian sausage for an additional charge. I loved that the sausage was ground up and not chunks of sausage or a whole sausage. I had the waitress put a lot of fresh Parmesan cheese on top. Yummy!! For dessert, our friends ordered the cheesecake and chocolate cake. They loved it. Hubby and I ordered the limoncello cream cake and it was divine. My husband tried the cheesecake and said it was delicious. Hubby and I will be going back.

A hidden gem, especially for a place that's been there in Mesa for 20 years. The appetizer burrata and house side salads were absolutely wonderful and a refreshing take. My wife and I shared a bottle of wine from Italy which was a Barbera, our friends shared a bottle of Merlot. We all had a different pasta each. Mine was the carbonara with added sausage and I tried the tiramisu, best I've had in a long time. Our friends shared a lava cake. Ethan our waiter was great and knew the dishes and had some great recommendations.

Please call for a reservation or the wait is 1 hour. We tried the Bruschetta, but honestly did not like it at all. Move on. The dinners are quite generous!! A VERY LARGE selection of wine. We went with Peppoli Chianti Classico. Wonderful and fairly priced. My dinner was the Flatbread BBQ Chicken. Yum!! Dessert... Spumoni covered in dark Chocolate. You have to share!

First time visit. Was incredible. Scott was very informative about the dishes and the presentations were awesome. Each of our party had a little different dish. Very tasty. The staff is very friendly and the cost is perfect.

The food was exceptional! The service was the same, would recommend to anyone. Prices are very reasonable for the quality of food and portions of food. The staff makes you feel like family. I also purposed to my girlfriend after, it was a great, memorable night thanks to Alessia's!

Alessia's is the Italian restaurant of choice for Mesa! What a fantastic menu, exquisite food, a modern, energetic vibe, and tremendous top-notch service. We spent another Anniversary enjoying this establishment to the highest. Also, with an unexpected treat of music and an operatic voice that brought tears to our eyes (not at all a regular occurrence). You must give Alessia's a visit!

I love the atmosphere here. Feels cozy...The staff and management are always nice to my family and I. I'm really loving the caprese salad and gnocchi with garlic cream sauce. The salad has alot of tomatoes, a big generous chunk of fresh mozzarella, lots of basil and very thinly sliced onion... The balsamic is awesome. The garlic cream has that fresh garlic kick. Gnocchis are bar-none.

Honestly, this place is a rare 5-star gem for me. I can't find a single thing to complain about. The staff makes you feel like family, and they really take care of you. Wine lovers, check out their club! And the tiramisu? Unbelievable. Seriously, you need to try this place!

This place is in an unassuming strip mall in East Mesa. What it lacks on the outside it more than makes up inside. Inside it has an upscale feel. The dining room is more formal and the wait staff is very professional. The food is outstanding and they have a large wine menu. I had the lasagna and it was great. It was a little on the spicy side and had lots of red sauce. For dessert I had cannolis. They were incredible. Highly recommended.

We arrived 45 minutes before closing on a Sunday and still had plenty of time for a delicious meal in this charming ristorante. Our pastas and sauces were amazing, and a bottle of wine was reasonably priced. Check out their to-go bottle prices, too. We loved the atmosphere, and the service was attentive without being overbearing. Alessia's will be in our regular rotation now, and we are already highly recommending it to family and friends.

Our family of five loved this place. The staff was all super friendly. It isn’t ofter anymore when you are standing at the hostess desk that multiple staff walk by and say “we will be right with you” “have you been helped?” “We are happy you are here” our food came out super fast and hot and delicious. My only mild complaints are that our waitress didn’t tell us the specials and I heard another waiter tell another table after we had ordered. I would have loved the shrimp. Also no full bar, but my wine was great and this place is gem.

Had an amazing dining experience at Alessis's last night. Everything from the initial reservation to the end of the meal was top-notch. I was in charge of a company dinner for a large group of 9+. Calling in to make the reservation was very easy. I had requested to sit outside, thinking it would be nice in the evening. The general manager called me the day of the reservation to let me know he had checked the temperature for outside sitting and that it would be hot. That is world-class service! Thank you, Scott, for taking the time and care with my reservation. That level of attention to detail was present throughout the dining experience. The group was seated right away. The service was exceptional. I had a dietary restriction, and the server made sure my meal came out just perfect. The entire night was perfect. I will exclusively make all future company dinners at Alessia's. Highly recommend.

Went for my Birthday Dinner on a Sunday entire Experience was excellent The outside was clean owner said soon as we entered someone will be right with you excellent customer service acknowledge the customer a friendly Hostess dark hair checked our reservation we were early she upselled to visit there wine bar we ordered two wines were approached with one minute a girl bartender also offered water this is excellent wine was fresh the nose was good a white Zinfandel fresh and tasty served chilled glass was proper size clean we were sat at time of reservation a table in the right side of restaurant. Dining table clean all setup dining area had many wine bottles for purchase all nicely displayed also noticed in bar room wall had wine corks on the wall like a picture frame adding to the restaurant decor nice touch within minutes our waitress Kiana approached our table smiled very friendly dressed nice delivered our wine menu and menus she was excellent. Excellent menus all nicely displayed with all the food selections and various wines Kiana arrived back within two minutes we asked about appetizers and 001 ordered the antipasti Misto she said excellent choice . 001 ordered the Gamberi pasta fettuccini. 002 ordered the special which our waitress went over all dinner specials. Our appetizer arrived back within approximate time very quick was served fresh and tasty on a very nicely wooden serving wood plate. The black olives were fresh and tasty the nuts fresh and tasty all Italian cheese excellent fresh and moist . The Italian meats were all fresh and excellent the grapes were many big fresh and tasty . 001 and 002 dinners were served within standard time was served hot and fresh a gentleman dressed nice delivered our entrees. 001 observed his dish was large served hot was excellent very fresh and tasty was delicious. The shrimp was large fresh and most tasted great the fettuccine was moist and fresh . The Basil & tomato sauce was excellent added to the entree. Oo2 enjoyed the special was also served fresh hot and very tasty. 002 noticed excellent white sauce the ravioli ‘s were large fresh and tasty excellent entree. Kiana checked back on our entrees excellent. Also had fresh Italian bread with olive oil for dipping bread also fresh & tasty . Fresh water on table did have to stop busboy to fill my water was friendly and dressed nice was observed going around inside restaurant filling water at various tables . Noticed owner at all tables he was all around the restaurant assisting customers excellent dressed nice was very sharp and nice . 001 would note same gentlemen that said hi we will be right with you when we first entered restaurant this is top notch customer service. Inside restaurant was all clean and tidy . We also ordered two more wines were served quickly were both fresh and tasty served chilled . All our leftovers were nicely boxed by our waitress Kiana was excellent very friendly. Kiana stopped back offered dessert went over all selections. We ordered two Spmoni Boma desserts and two coffees decaf . Both desserts were delivered quickly and two coffee. The Spmoni was excellent fresh and tasty excellent presentation on plate scrumptious desserts. Kiana also delivered another dessert with a birthday candle this was also served fresh and tasty.Kiana said Happy Birthday. Kiana also delivered two coffees and offered cream And sugar. A excellent touch by management. Kiana stopped back to check on our desserts and coffees. Both coffees were served hot were fresh and tasty. All desserts were very fresh and tasty. Kiana also boxed up our leftovers on dessert. Kiana delivered our check all correctly food & drink selections all listed . Code 180746. All proper copies listed used a card on transaction. Left a tip for Kiana was $30 total - $118.05 . She said thank you have have a great evening thank You also was on check. 001 and 002 enjoyed our Dinner was top notch would highly recommend Alessia’s restaurant to his friends & Family. On the way out the Hostess dark hair dressed nice said Happy Birthday again & Thank You MSS

This was the first Italian restaurant I ate at after traveling to Italy for a month. This restaurant is by far the BEST Italian in all of Arizona! You can smell the garlic when you enter. The food is so fresh, the wine is excellent, and the service is top notch! We will be back!
