We went on a Friday night at 6:30pm and were the only customers in the restaurant the whole time which was a bit off putting. Maybe they get busier later at night, I’m not sure. Anyway, they’ve scaled down their menu so all of the items I wanted to try (from the menu on their website) weren’t available: Icli Kofte Kibbeh, Mediterranean Salad among some others. I ordered the Chicken Shish but their online menu showed it comes with roasted eggplant and yogurt sauce. I didn’t get either of those - just spiced chicken, pickled cabbage, one pepper, salad mix and thin tortilla type wrap bread. We ordered the hummus appetizer so I at least had that to add to my meal (note: hummus comes with baked bread, not pita). Hubby had the Turkish pastrami pide mix. No sides with it, just that, and it cost $24 (website menu shows it is $18). The Turkish wine was very good but also $13 a glass. And one of my biggest pet peeves is when restaurants charge for water. We paid $7 for a bottle of still water (not sparkling) that we shared, but still - there should be a free water option, even if just tap water. Then if customers would prefer bottled instead of tap water, charge them for that. Overall, 2 meals, 1 appetizer, 2 glasses of wine and 1 bottle of water was $118 (they include a required 18% tip in their bill). I gave 3 stars because the food and wine tasted fine, and the employees were friendly. But we wouldn’t go back for the price point we payed, the fact they charge for water, and the limited menu options. They should update their website menu so it’s accurate, including the higher pricing.
