@Publix at Cross Creek Commons, I’m extremely disappointed by the ongoing disrespect I’ve encountered in your store. While I understand the job can be stressful, it does not justify the way customers are treated. The first issue occurred when I accidentally entered the '10 items or less' checkout with more than 10 items. I was having a hard day due to a personal situation and apologized immediately, explaining it was an honest mistake. However, an employee scolded me four times, even after I apologized and explained I hadn’t noticed the sign. Despite filing a complaint about him, I never received a response.Today, I experienced another issue with pricing. I purchased Thai noodles that were marked as $1.62 on clearance. However, at checkout, I was charged around $5. When I pointed out the mistake, a Publix employee confirmed that the price tag was wrong. The same brand had both white rice noodles for $1.62 and brown rice noodles for $5, but only one price tag was displayed. Per Publix policy, if there’s a pricing error, the customer is supposed to receive the item for free. Yet, instead of honoring this, I was treated rudely and felt forced to return the item. I wouldn’t have purchased it if I knew it cost $5.It is not my responsibility to predict prices when the store fails to display them correctly, and I should not be scolded for pointing out your mistake. After these repeated negative experiences, I will not be returning to your store. This is unacceptable customer service.
