I sincerely hope this review reaches someone who values Publix’s reputation. My family and I have been shopping at the Toledo location for about a year since moving to the area, and the consistent unprofessional and unpleasant treatment from employees has driven us to start shopping at a much farther location. At Toledo, interactions across almost every department feel as though helping customers is a burden. In stark contrast, the atmosphere at the Cochran location is warm and welcoming. I even asked an employee there why the environment was so different, and she proudly said, “We love what we do.” That sentiment is echoed by other long-term Publix employees I've encountered, who emphasize the importance of gratitude and customer care.Today was the final straw. When picking up my prescription, I stood at the pharmacy counter for four minutes while two employees ignored me. Eventually, one (Erika) reluctantly approached with an attitude and asked, “Can I help you?” Her tone made it clear she felt bothered. The experience was so unpleasant that I nearly walked out. When I looked up this store's reviews, I wasn’t surprised to find a 2.6 rating with numerous complaints spanning years. It’s shocking that this has been allowed to persist for so long. Does anyone care about the customer experience at this location?Publix is known for excellent customer service, but the Toledo location is tarnishing that reputation. I strongly urge corporate to address this location’s management and training, as it does not meet Publix standards.
