Mind blowing place. I can't believe it's free. As a person who loves stone/gems/rocks and anything of that nature this place was amazing. I was in awe the entire time.

This place is for anyone of any age. Both my mom and my 2.5 year old toddler were loving it! Really cool dinosaur and petrified wood stuff! It was quite small but perfect size for a toddler, in and out in 30-45 minutes.

Fascinating museum about fossils and more! Takes about an hour or so. A little tricky to see since the entrance is tucked off to the side of the alumni center. Well worth the visit.

Main focus is petrified wood and fossils. It is interesting to see wood from different regions side by side. Amazingly large specimens! (Since others have posted photos of those, I'm posting one of a petrified pinecone... something that I'd never seen.) The museum is perfectly...Read More
