Went inside the mansion (Open 9-4) and upstairs to a kind receptionist who directed us to a map of the grounds and encouraged us to visit the teaching center. Wonderful ideas at the teaching center for your own gardens and a place for small children...Read More

I love the teaching Garden at Woodward Park! Every time of year there's something new and beautiful to see. The Koi fish and Japanese style garden is such a relaxing place to reflect.

Enjoyed the hour unwinding at the park. I took a bunch of pictures and met some people. Dennis, the rose gardener, gave me some backstory on how things used to be around there, and how he wished that there were volunteers to come out and help.

One of my all time favorite places to go too!!! I always go there when I'm down. Because, I know I will feel better as soon I see all the flowers in bloom. And this place never fails me.

There's not a full playground set with toys but there is a set of swings. There is a restroom by the swing set, but it is typically locked. Sometimes you can visit the garden center to use their facilities.Perfect place to have a picnic on the ground with lots of space. No covered area with tables though.

We love Woodward Park and Gardens. We usually come to feed the squirrels before strolling around.
Dogs are welcomed, just keep them leashed.
