The Duluth Depot is an awesome and historic place to visit for locals and tourists. The summer months are great to visit especially when they have Thomas the Train during the month of August every year, and really cool during the Christmas holiday when they...Read More

Very nice museum. Lots of stuff to see and you could spend the whole day looking at the trains. Would definitely come back again!

I was surprised at how many trains they had. Big steamers! Great miniature train set (forgot to grab a picture)

The best indoor train museum in the midwest, and in its original setting.

We really enjoyed the museum. It exceeded pur expectations. I am so glad we went. We also went on short train ride. I wished we would have planned better and been able to go on the all day trip to Two Harbors.

Could spend hours here. We were there for over 2 hours and didn't see everything. Ages 3,5,33 and 35.

Great from top to bottom. Great for adults and kids. Tied it into a trip to Bentleyville.

Took the train during the Grandmas Marathon with my Mom and Dad to watch my wife run. It was amazing. The crew on the train exceeded all expectations. It was an amazing experience.

Very impressed! First off, the ticket agent asked if I might be a veteran, I told him I was. He informed me that happily the policy had been updated and families up to 5 members can visit for no charge when with a veteran. Thank...Read More

The Duluth depot is a very historic building. It was constructed in approximately 1892 when Duluth was the railway hub of the north. When you go down the stairs (where people went to board the trains) there is a very impressive railroad museum which allows...Read More

Such a lovely building, immediately transports visitors to another time. Each visit is different thanks to ever changing displays and art offerings. Not to be missed.

Such a cool piece of history on its own, but there also several high quality museum exhibits which are totally free to view. I highly recommend stopping in.

Amazing, awesome, unbelievable, jaw dropping, these are words I would use to describe this place. You could spend a week here and still not see everything and read all the information available. It’s an unbelievable collection of railroad history that I have never seen before....Read More

We loved this museum, and so did our 3-year-old. There were plenty of real train cars to explore, as well as a nice model railroad display and wire a few toy train tables for children. There are other historical exhibits unrelated to trains within the...Read More
