Very nice memorial dedicated to those lost in the Holocaust; might be one of the best memorials we’ve seen.

Even though the circumstances that created the need for the memorial were awful. This memorial was a beautiful tribute to the memory of what happened. The whole energy was very solemn and inspiring to prevent history from repeating itself. There were a lot of student...Read More

Such a sobering experience, felt overwhelming, standing inside the towers that symbolize the camps, reading the thoughts of holocaust survivors - so many stories. Very moving, with steam coming from vents under your feet. Never Again!

Had no idea this was here and I’m grateful it is. The more we can learn, remember and acknowledge the horrible events of the holocaust the less likely we as society are to repeat it. They have each persons ID number etched in a piece...Read More

What an incredibly moving Monument. I was overcome with emotion while visiting. The Monument consists of a walkway lined with informative stones and plaques and six glass towers. Each tower is etched with 1,000,000 numbers, each representing one Jewish life lost among the estimated 6,000,000...Read More

Very well-done memorial. The towers with the victims’ numbers going all the way up help to imagine the sheer magnitude of 6 million. Very moving with the quotes from survivors. Took about 10-15 minutes to read the quotes and walk through—definitely worth a visit.

Walking back to our hotel, we happened upon this memorial. Having recently been in Amsterdam and Paris where we learned more about the Holocaust, this memorial was equally humbling and reflective. The six panels contain quotes from survivors who talk about loved ones killed in...Read More

This is definitely worth a walk through. It'll catch your eye saying, "what's that?" (With the steam). Really interesting transcriptions. Definitely take a few mins and check it out.

Amazing memorial. Not all the information seems to agree with information we've learned visiting parts of Europe and the Holocaust Museum in DC, but that shouldn't detract from the importance of this memorial.
