Visited on 6.17.2025. The history museum is part of a trifecta of museums as admission also gets you into the Studebaker museum and the Oliver Mansion. Highly recommend doing all three of these fantastic places.

We purchased entrance to the History Museum, Studebaker Museum and Oliver Mansion tour. It's well worth the time to see all. The mansion was donated by the grandchildren and is in great condition.

Small but enjoyable museum. They did a very good job with the doll house exhibit in the changing gallery. Stop in to vote for your favorite one!

Beautiful place!! Thirty-eight room mansion left by the Oliver family. Everything in it is original to the house. So many unique pieces, and Brenda, our guide, told lots of great stories. There's only one room you can't go into-the nursery-because there are no original pieces...Read More

This place was fun for my boyfriend who is a total motorhead. The kids enjoyed it but it was not as interactive as I was hoping for. My kids liked the first floor and it kept their intrest but by the second floor they were...Read More

The Copshaholm was amazing. I don't know how many photos I can add. I have about 100. Everything was so densely filled and opulently appointed. The carriage house and museum contained many wings on prohibition, Notre Dame, the women's professional baseball league, and the circus. Very interesting. Some...Read More

The only complaint I have is make sure you allow yourself a lot more time than what we did - we arrived at 2:30 on a Sunday afternoon and did not have enough time to see everything before closing. We will definitely be going back...Read More

I must admit that it is a very interesting museum. Even though I came here just passing through, I was not disappointed. It is worth coming here and learning about the history of this region.

Very friendly helpful staff throughout the museum. There were great exhibits with plenty of information if you take the time to read it all. Plan for a half day at least if you thoroughly go through.

I remember growing up and enjoying the old St. Joseph Co historical collection located in the old courthouse. It connected me to my home place. The city has done an incredible job of elevating the collection into a "real" museum. Combining the collection with the...Read More
