Excellent staff! Incredibly display of information on our Linn County roots. Definitely worth checking out. The resource library is available by appointment.

Staffed with some excellent people. The museum has exhibits from pre-historic Iowa through the mid-twentieth century. Further exhibits regarding somewhat more contemporary events rotate throughout the year. The museum also contains an extensive library of historical documents for anyone doing local history research.

The history center is a wealth of Cedar Rapids history. But, be forewarned, the Grant Wood studio is only open in the summer months.
