Good place to accustomed with history of politics and geography of Texas. They have an exhibit center, history of this building, gift shop, Texas travel center and historical photographs. They also offered art tour which is completely free.

Went on a field trip with my niece. Born and raised here and had never been. Very cool place. The guides are awesome and very knowledgeable. Even the people working in the gift shop were super helpful and friendly.

Omg. This place is gigantic I like how the government is willing to allow the public to visit the state capitol. So much of history about this building and it’s construction.

The staff in the visitors’ center were very friendly and made us feel welcome. We enjoyed seeing some of the Texas state history in the displays. The gift shop was nice and had some neat items to take home with you.
