The Syrian Cultural Gardens are highlighted by a circular fountain in front of a three arches with a stair case climbing up to East Boulevard. A bust celebrates the poet, Nizar Qabbani.
I am a sucker for a nice set of steps.

Wonderful installation for Syria. Highlighting its historical significance in the development of human civilization.
Not mentioned but quite notable is the large number of Syrian American physicians.

Bust of famed Syrian poet Nizar Qibanni, by the artist Layla Khoury.
Elements in the garden are: the Arches of Palmyra, the Amphitheater of Basra, the Syrian Arch and the Arabic Fountain, all decorated with authentic colors.

Built with traditional Syrian architecture- the fountain and arches transport you to a small Damascene park. At the heart of it all with the Hebrew gardens overlooking the Indian and Lebanese gardens just across MLK Blvrd. Only thing like this on Earth!
