Great museum. Never even thought about how water was pumped back in the day and this is pretty amazing engineering. Staff was nice and gave fun little pieces of water. Also ask to blow the whistle!

Small but quite neat. Full of lots of little tidbits of interesting Shreveport history. I WAS disappointed that they didn't have anything dedicated to Shreveport's time as Louisiana's capital—it wasn't mentioned at all. It only took me 1hr to see the whole museum. Well worth...Read More
