We hiked the Kiwanis Loop Trail. Its an easy to moderate trail. The first 1.5 miles were the easiest. There's a lookout tower at the 1.5 mile mark. You can see most of the valleys on both sides of South Mountain....Read More

I did the annual national trail event and this was great, the whole thing was well organized and everyone was so positive. You would think with 300 people on the trail it would be crowded but it was spacious. It was a 15.5 mile trek...Read More

We started watching sunsets here in 1983, now we have to do sunrises because the park closes at 7 p.m. We were 6th in line at 5 a.m. to enter the park with alot of hikers and bicyclists. Stunning views, very peaceful, and free admission.

The view is gorgeous and super peaceful, even if the drive up feels a little nerve-racking. We came here six years ago and it’s still just as amazing. Definitely a must-see spot if you’re in Phoenix.
