hi! just want to share my first and great cabana experience today! definitely feel like the cabanas are so worth it on a busy summer weekend. so many people were there today fighting for chairs/tables. to not have to worry about that was such an amazing peace of mind. I bought the cabana online on friday for our visit for sunday. we choose the cabana in spash island, which is the new kid area that opened in 2024. even though my daughter didnt like hanging out in this area, I loved the location. we were so close to the bathrooms, so close to the changing rooms, and so close to one of the food places.
Mitchell took care of us at the cabana today, so shout out to him. he was very kind and helpful. when we checked in for our cabana he walked us over and brought us for bottles of soda and the snack platter which is 4 bags of chips. we asked if we could only have diet soda since thats all we drink, and so he changed the sodas he brought to 4 coke zeros’s which we really appreciated. having the mini fridge in the cabana is so amazing for a hot day to keep our drinks cold. also appreciated the curtains to have some shade and privacy. also included in the cabana were the tube rentals, which normally would of been $25. we got one double & 2 singles. this was an added plus so we didn’t have to worry about fighting for tubes in the lazy river. also forgot to say they give you bottles of water too.
also added plus with the cabana, your waiter/waitress takes our lunch/dinner order and goes get the food for you and brings it back to your cabana. this is also amazing so you don’t have to worry about waiting on lines for food. our food came to us very hot.
we bought our season passes labor day weekend of 2024 so we been now 4 different visits- October 2024, April 2025, June 2025, and now July 2025. Safari, regular park, and now waterpark. definitely think the price of season passes for all those visits and not having to pay for parking is 100% worth it.
I was a season pass holder for 2 years at Sesame place because my young daughter. if you compare the price of that with 3 parks with Six flags, you really can’t even justify the price of Sesame place, which is only 1 park and so much smaller. not to mention their cabana prices are outrageous.
