Lovely place to get 'lost' in South Carolina. They have unpaved trails as well as boardwalks. It was quiet in early February. A good amount of wildlife or at least evidence of it. Bring a good lens and camera to get bird photos. I imagine it's...Read More

Unassumingly cool park. It's not huge, but definitely large enough to enjoy a nice walk out in nature among the woods and marshes. Wildlife everywhere. Birds nesting deep in the marsh grasses. You can hear them calling out to each other, sometimes even just a few...Read More

Love having accessible restrooms!I have a service dog and she is content at this park. It feels safe and she can properly go about her duties without disruptions (other than the occasional wildlife- snakes). The park rangers are always nearby warning us of potential dangers and greeting us with kindness and enthusiasm.

$2 per person. Worth it. A great walk, especially if you want long paved and dirt trail options. Some long boardwalks. Ample parking, restrooms, trash cans. Dog friendly.
Large no-shade dog park with a water spigot, and loads of dog friendly trails besides.

Loved seeing all the natural wildlife. Although it is dog friendly the humidity knocks you down quickly I don’t advise bringing the pooches anytime except early morning or evening. Bring plenty of water!
