This 8 acre park has two playgrounds, two full basketball courts, a backstop for softball, big grassy fields, exercise equipment, picnic tables, and plenty of side walk around the entire park for running, dog walking, biking, etc.
The larger playground is incredible. It’s probably more for kids 5+ but my daredevil nearly 2 & nearly 4 year olds weren’t even phased by the height, climbing options, or new elements. ((Seriously. They’re daredevils & I’ve learned to just not have a heart attack)). This multi level structure has three slides (one double & two very tall sidewinders), a climbing net tower with a neighboring net for practicing your American ninja warrior routine, a climbing wall, two very tall ladders leading to the top level (which is also accessible by a shorter ladder in the middle & stairs if you enter on the other side tunnel), a tube tunnel, a roller pad (like a slide but standing on your feet. You just use your hands on the side rails to make you roll down 🤷♀️), elevated stepping stones, a balance rope, & various other unique ladders. This play area also has a tire/disk swing, sandbox with two excavators, & a merry go round.
On the other side of the basketball courts is another playground with twoish structures, swings (bucket, chair, and a different version of the double seat I’ve seen at other parks) plus a four person teeter totter. The smaller of the two structures here is modeled after a train 🚂 & has two slides, steps, & activities. The larger structure has four slides (two straight, one spiral, one sidewinder), stairs, ladders, activities, monkey bars, elevated stepping stones, & a crocodile balance beam (a hit with my Peter Pan loving boy).
Both play areas have a good amount of shade 🙌🏼 and a a comfortable distance to the street.
Despite how some pictures look this place was busy. There was a moms exercise group on the basketball court, a few nannys/parents with multiple kids, & bigger kids here on their own.
There are no bathrooms & it’s neighborhood street parking so make sure to only park in guest spots.
