Awesome place! Family oriented. It has very knowledgeable employees. What impressed me the most was the tornado simulator. It is a “shelter” where you go in just as you would around here. It is intense, so I wouldn’t go in with very young...Read More

Fantastic hands-on exhibits. We were very impressed by the creativity of the educational activities, which involved the visitor (young or old) in creating their own personal version of the topic at hand. I’d give it six stars if I could.

The museum was great, especially for kids. The Fort or trading post was awesome! Will the interpreter was very welcoming, insightful and helpful. This place should marketed a lot more widely...it's almost lost amid the construction.

Absolutely loved this place. Recent storms have been giving them some trouble, roof needs repairs. Definitely recommend coming with the family, so many hands-on activities kids of all ages would enjoy (bring some hand sanitizer).
