There was quite a queue when I arrived, so I'd recommend ordering tickets online beforehand. When buying a ticket, I was given a map to help navigate, although I still found it a little confusing.
The general admission was $27, which I initially thought was a lot, but on reflection, it's actually quite reasonable. The exhibition was an additional $34 with timed admissions.
I wish I'd dedicated a day in order to really take my time and see everything. There's so much incredible artwork to see, the Americas, Asia, Europe, Greece and Rome, Dutch and Flemish, Contemporary, Impressionism, Jewellery, Musical instruments, and more.
There are also gift shops that you can buy prints, books, textiles, ceramics, jewellery and so much more.
It was a little overwhelming being quite so busy, but it was too good to miss.
I would definitely return if I ever found myself in Boston again. Highly recommend.
