This is a little known place, but worth spending the 20-30 minutes to walk and see the history of the area. Otherwise it ia a nice trail for a walk/bike/jog.

Beautifully secluded and connects to a network of other trails. This place is a gem of American history and Iowan history specifically. Amazing scenery and a special place considering the history. Great to run and ride.

Nice paved(asphalt) trail. There are some sites to see and a couple good spots to look out into the woods. One of our favorites due to the location-it links up with a couple of other bike paths so we can easily walk a good distance....Read More

Stopped to give th dogs a drink. Ended up taking them on a quick 5min walk. the trail was lovely and would have loved to have gone farther but time didn't allow. The Dogs Love it .

A really fascinating slice of history. This commemorates where thousands of Mormons traveled *on foot* (handcart) from Iowa to Utah in 1856. Several of them are buried here.
