Our tour guide was excellent. She was knowledgeable, and you could feel how important the truth is to the history of this plantation. It was told from the perspective of the enslaved, and it was very powerful.

Absolutely one of the finest plantation tours I have taken. Tobi (not sure of spelling) was passionately invested in the historical significance of this plantation and it came through (with a big impact might I add) during her guided tour. The grounds and...Read More

Excellent historical tour of the plantation is included with admission. Our tour guide, Allen, was terrific. He was very informative and honest about the history of the plantation. The grounds are beautiful, and you can walk through the house at no additional charge.

This particular plantation is run by the Parks and Recreation department which makes it a little more affordable than other plantations in the area. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and was overall an excellent tour guide. I highly recommend.

Very worth the trip - while not the most visually impressive plantation I've ever seen, the tour is unique in its emphasis on the lived experience of the enslaved, not the slavers. There's not a lot of preserved artifacts or furniture to give you a...Read More

Nice smaller plantation area. Beautiful trees and you can walk the first floor of the original plantation house. Self guided or guided tours.

One of the smaller plantations but full of history. Hearing about how the enslaved were treated here can be hard to take for some people but I felt like their story was well told by our tour guide.
