My family and I do not live in this area. We were down that way, visiting some family, and we decided to take our 2 youngest daughters here. We have never been, and it was an amazing experience. We have 2 smaller aquarium type places closer to us that we have visited multiple times and enjoy those. But this is such a larger scale and so much more to see, and it really is and was worth the trip. We went in the afternoon on a Monday and it really wasn't that busy. Yes, the parking lot was full and there were people there, but I don't know if it's because of the size of the place, but you didn't feel like it was overcrowded and you weren't fighting through people to get to look at things. Overall, the experience was 100% enjoyable, and there was so much to look at. Who knew they had so many different types of fish, lol. I would love to go back at a different time of the year, when it's not 100° outside, and experience more of the outside part. They have a little play area for kids with a water table and a zip line and another climbing playground that my 3-year-old just loved, but it was just so hot out there and the trees aren't quite mature enough to give enough shade, and there wasn't any type of awning or sunshade overhead. It was just too hot for little ones. Overall, I would highly suggest that everyone visit this place.
