Enjoyed a great trip and there was a lot to see even late in September. Not much was in bloom, but the trees were beautiful. A very tranquil spot worth exploring.

There is no play equipment. There are big grassy spaces, but they aren't for playing.There are indoor restrooms by the gift shop.No pets allowed.There are lots of tables and chairs interspersed throughout the gardens that are available for picnicking at.

I visited during the end of spring and beginning of summer. The rhododendron were in full bloom, they were so beautiful and vibrant. I loved everything about Lakewold garden, this is one of those places where you just have to come see for yourself.

A true inspiration! I purchased a membership very reasonable. 2025 has allowed a few updates along the paths. A wooden checker board and chairs were a great idea.
