What a pleasant escape from the city and desert right in the middle! Beautiful little lake, nice refuge for the waterfowl and other fauna. Too bad people don't treat it with respect! The grounds had trash and people just walked by it like it wasn't...Read More

This hidden green in Tucson surprised me the other day. I was driving along and saw a lake on my gps in Tucson. I've lived here for a few years and only now found this beautiful little oasis.

Enjoyed serving 10 Disabled Veterans, blind, to a fishing bonanza serving hot dogs and hamburgers!
They were cleaned that morning and looked great!Brought my service dog and he loved watching the ducks! Our reserved picnic area was cleaned and hosed down before our arrival. The grill was clean also. It was close to the lake, assisting the veterans was much easier.

Very nice smaller lake. Clean with a scattering of fishermen and people walking around the lake. The lake is small enough for a nice stroll around it. There's a park on the other side with ball fields. Nice tables and Ramada areas too

This park has a lot of potential, views, water, and open space. Unfortunately, it's in dire need of TLC...new trees and landscaping in particular. The lake could be a major amenity, but instead, it's surrounded by a denuded landscape with little shade.
