My daughter was enrolled in Jarvis full time from 1 til she was 4 years old. My daughter is now 5 and she is still welcomed with open arms at Jarvis. My daughter along with her other classmates always displayed happiness, comfort, togetherness etc during pickup and drop off . My absolute favorite thing about Ms.Shauna myself is the way she genuinely expressed any concerns she may have with you or your child. Every day Ms.Shauna updated me with whether or not my daughter did poop , if she ate , if she napped , did she nap easily , was she the last one to fall asleep. All of these daily statuses were vital to Idols home routine. I even took her out the Daycare for an easier commute for me but after a few weeks i had to make the sacrifice and bring her back to Jarvis because i instantly saw regression in idols behavior , and school work . A few pros compared to the temp daycare was ; outside shoes aren’t allowed in Jarvis, the staff at jarvis are constantly sending pictures and updates, intimate setting, diversity , and the fact that they don’t put limitations on children . They’re able to explore freely! My daughter was 2 years old differentiating hard and soft cover books , able to identify the spine of a book, able to clearly say she lived in Brooklyn,New York and this list goes on idol is in kindergarten and Idol still receives invites to special events/trips at Jarvis , whenever i need one day care , she’s available , idol still receives birthday gifts , Easter baskets , Christmas presents etc it’s really like a life sentence once you’re apart of the Jarvis Academy community. i can not thank Ms.Shauna for being a special part of Idols upbringing . I know they say it takes a village to raise a kid . For me, my village started with Jarvis and I’m truly forever grateful.
