Read MoreI had time before my flight back home, and the zoo is only 9 miles from the airport, so I went for a visit. The zoo is full of a wide variety of animals, which all seem happy, healthy, and very well cared for 😀! I met 2 of the caretakers who provided lots of insight and stories about their animals, and the park was very clean! There's lots of little paths to take that lead to themed areas of the park, like the Australian loop, South American loop, etc. I didn't see a paper map (which I prefer), but I'm sure there's a map via an app, website, QR code or something as most of the park seems to be solely digital, including ticketing and the gift shop. What really impressed me was the structure of the zoo, which had some cool bridges, a really neat temple, a train, and awesome decorations throughout the park. The garden aspect was also beautiful, which really enhanced my walk throughout the exhibits. There's shows for the kids, a 4-D movie theater, a playground, and even more family fun! Definitely worth a visit!
