This Golden Goose was the mascot of a casino that was established in 1974 - 1980. The owner at the time was Herb Pastor and this was his first of several casinos, all within walking distance. It is even said that at one time the Goose fell from his perch it was on, and smashed a parked car - while just missing a couple of tourists that were walking by. The Golden Goose years later was then converted to the Girls of Glitter Gulch gentleman's club.
As apart of the Downtown Project the Goose was placed on this corner for all to see while deciding to learn more of the iconic history of Las Vegas, or just for some really neat photos.
Would def recommend - especially if your into roadside attractions or history. Pricing is free
