Peaceful. Best way i can describe it. Like stepping back in time. If it was for the cars and modern day clothing, you'd swear you went through a time machine. Dog and kid friendly. Nice locals.

I visited there the second week of April and found a beautiful sunny day, along with blooming pink redbud trees. The atmosphere was beautiful.

Love walking here. Right off the Katy Trail, river, casino, and historic St Charles main street is feet away. They have numerous events here such as Octoberfest, and 4th of July celebrations. Ample parking across the street behind the st charles main street buildings plus...Read More

Beautiful, open and well kept park just behind old downtown St Charles. There are many paved and unpaved trails to suit either the leisurely person or the avid cyclists. Many picnic tables and grills are along the river providing scenic views of the Missouri River....Read More

Great for a walk and to view the riverfront. Also within walking distance of shops and restaurants. Great place for a date, picnic with the family, or exercise in the park.

Great park to take a walk, run, or just appreciate the views. You can find restaurants within walking distance and it is open everyday. You will enjoy it by your self or friends. I will need to revisit.

Good park for walking dogs. Most other parks kick you out at sunset... So in the winter you have very few options for walking the dogs after work. My neighborhood has no sidewalks so I load up the dogs and walk up and down main...Read More

You must keep your dogs leashed. No poop bags. No dog water stations... But it is open at night. Snow and ice are not removed from trails. If there is a special event they don't allow dogs. St Charles needs to up the dog friendliness of their parks.2 pavilions. One at either end of the park.

Frontier Park is a gem to take a walk, ride a bike, or take a run. A block from Main Street, St. Charles. I love walking my dog at night with the Christmas lights up. So peaceful and beautiful.

My go to place to walk my pup 🐶 because I can walk across the street to Old Mill Stream and grab a beer.
