Built in 1890s, Fort Allen Park is a 10-acre, historical, urban park that features artifacts from the USS Portland and USS Maine, as well as multiple memorials. It features a lovely view of the water, with plenty of trails to walk. There are also tables available for eating lunch or enjoying a picnic. Dogs are welcomed! In the summer, you might catch a group playing in the historic bandstand.
