With a ticket, we got a tour of the small museum. The museum has a bit of American history but the real charm is the focus on the local community. You'll learn how the deviststion of the great flood, famous community members, and how schools/students battled racism.
I absolutely loved the art. There are two beautiful quilts donated by schools and lovely pieces on the stairs.
Our tour guide was raised in the apartment building that now serves as the museum. She was incredibly knowledgeable and a blast to be around. She added the perfect amount of local touch and charm to positively affect our experience.
