Read MoreI adored this escape room so much! My boyfriend and I visited for date night last weekend and were very pleased with the escape room that we tried: the pirate themed one. The theming and decoration was sooooo cool! The puzzles were challenging but also very unique. (I won't spoil anything here, but I had a blast with some unique challenges I'd never seen before in an escape room!) We had to ask for hints a few times, but none of the puzzles were TOO difficult to solve, even for our small group of just two people! (I think that that specific room can accommodate up to 8-ish people, but you certainly don't need that many.)
Our escape room guide/attendant, Agent Storm, was super nice and helpful with hints (including a few subtle nudges in the right direction when we were missing clues,) and I'm pretty sure he gave us a few extra minutes in the room to successfully complete the last few puzzles and escape, which I really appreciated, as I was having so much fun and wanted to complete the room! After completing the game, they have cute themed props to take photos with your group to commemorate your experience.
Highly recommend this escape room to anyone looking for a fun adventure in Wicker Park. I'll definitely be returning to check out the other rooms to see what else Escape Artistry has to offer!!!
