Hiking trail maps are provided near the wooden bulletin board. Wonderful views that stretch across the sky. Feels like your on top of the world. Set your own pace while hiking because it's easier going downhill, rougher going back up. Expect to arrive a little earlier than 7pm if your gonna take photos because it gets very popular later in the day. Perfect for sunsets 🌇

This place is pet friendly. I’ve seen many people come with their dogs.The place is picnic friendly. There are many benches for you to sit and have a quick bite.

A wonderful yet challenging hike! The signs are very dated and hard to read but once we got on track it was a great time and an even better time once we hit the top! A peanut butter and jelly sandwich helped with the recovery before the decent. We chuckled once we reached the bottom because it took us about an hour less to get down. Our last little hoorah ended with gratitude trail because, well, we were thankful for a beautiful day and the opportunity to see some breathtaking views.
I would consider this a moderate-challenging hike with some of the grades being at 15% per strava anyway. It’s tough but, again, worth it.

Incredible 360 degree views, just a short walk from the car! Top view point even has picnic tables, trees and telescopes! And if you don’t feel like walking around, you can still see 180 degree views from the car!!
The bathrooms are at the entry and are always clean.Top view point has picnic tables, trees and telescopes.

Absolutely beautiful place to hike and bring the dogs!!! There is definitely a lot of wildlife there (they leave their trail behind lol) but that adds to the beauty of it you can see a lot of San Marcos from the top.
