This museum is AWESOME! First, when you pull on to the brick road you're immediately transported to a different world! There was ample free parking on a Thursday afternoon. The building itself used to be a beautiful post office, converted to a beautiful museum. I love the architecture! When you go inside, you will see an interactive area, specifically designed for children. There is the grand room filled with molds and bones of dinosaurs! There were many informational signs - I learned a lot! The museum itself is tiny, but they truly maximize the space! I love that they have a scavenger hunt available!
When you walk downstairs, there is a Dinosaur themed play area, with a window to showcase one of their current projects! We saw the skull of a triceratops, which appeared to be worked on! We loved reading a book and playing with Dinosaur themed toys before heading to the Public Museum just down the road!
We explored the entire museum in about 1 hour - perfect for a 3 year old adventurer! We will return again soon!
